The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) publish the e-Flora of South Africa.

20th World Flora Online Council Meeting
The 20th WFO Council was held as a hybrid meeting (March 14th to 17th) at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew in London.

Royal Botanic Garden of Jordan joins the WFO Family
The Royal Botanic Garden of Jordan becomes the 51st Consortium Member.

19th World Flora Online Council Meeting
For the first time since 2019 the WFO has had an in person meeting to review the progress of the project so far and to discuss how the WFO can contribute to and support the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.

National Biodiversity Centre, Bhutan (NBC) joins the WFO family as our 50th member.
The NBC joins the 49 other Consortium Members that are the World Flora Online.

The International Association for Plant Taxonomy (IAPT) joins the WFO family.
The IAPT joins the 45 other Consortium Members that are the World Flora Online.

The International Compositae Alliance as the Taxonomic Expert Network for Asteraceae.
Six months after the official launch of the Global Compositae Database through the Aphia infrastructure, its content is now being shared with the World Flora Online. The collaboration between these two initiatives has become official through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
